REVIEW Careline Glow Getter Palette Price and Swatches

Careline Glow Getter has been in my stash for more than a year now but I just didn't have a chance to write a stand-alone review for it in the past. It is one of the most affordable multi-purpose face palettes in the Philippine Drugstore Makeup aisle that is readily available and affordable. It is cruelty-free and vegan too! I just don't reach out for it as often because the shades are more suitable for someone with a morena skin tone and I have fair skin but considering everything, it's a good buy!

I say that this is a good buy because I can't blame a makeup product that I bought to review for not being perfectly made for my skin tone. With this said, the Careline Glow Getter palette only has one shade combination available. It just so happens that I have other palettes that are better for me but I will still review this for those who might be interested.

What is the Careline Glow Getter Palette?

Careline Glow Getter is the teen-friendly version of the multi-use face palettes from Ever Bilena and EB Advance. It performs exactly the same way but is packaged and branded under sister company Careline. The palette has 3 powder face products: 1 blush, 1 contour/bronzer, and 1 highlighter.

The Careline Glow Getter Palette retails for P285 pesos so it costs the same as the EB Advance Face Palettes which got a mirror and several shade selection. P285 pesos is about $6. Not bad for 3 products.

You get 10 grams of product which honestly is a SULIT deal. Other powder face products are only 5-8 grams each and cost more. You get 3 products for the price of 1 in this palette.

Careline didn't name the shades. They are straight-up highlighter, blush, and contour. I like that the blush and contour are both matte and that the highlighter isn't too shimmery but I wish that the contour/bronze shade is a bit more cool-toned. Anyway, I understand that this is geared for the Filipino market and I think that the shades will complement the majority of the consumer base's skin tone.

The Careline Glow Getter Palette is Cruelty-Free, Vegan, and Paraben-Free.

Careline Glow Getter Swatches

Careline Glow Getter Swatches

I swatched the palette on the inside of my forearm and at the back of my hand so that you can see heavy swatches against smooth skin and textured skin. The application will of course be a lot lighter on the face but at least you will get an idea about the texture and look before purchasing.

I use the contour as a bronzer because it is too warn for my skin tone. The blush is perfect. The highlighter I don't use as much because it is too dark for my face but it looks great when applied on my body so I think this palette is SULIT. After all, I still get 3 products with different applications.

Careline Glow Getter Review Summary

  • Wear time is 4-8 hours so that's good 5/5
  • Saturation of color is 4/5
  • Scent is a bit powdery (you know what I mean) but goes away after 15 minutes
  • Value for money is 4/5 but only because there is no mirror
Overall, I still rate this 4.5/5
