Not a Basic Peach Palette from Wet N Wild's Color Icon collection is what brought me out of my makeup rut. Since the quarantine started, I find myself not wearing makeup as much as I would like to. I've been mostly working from home even prior to Covid-19 pandemic and I guess I just liked it having to live up to expectations of a full face of makeup everyday. With this said, this was only great for the first few months but later on, I find that my productivity suffered. There is something to putting yourself together in the morning that kick-starts your brain for real but the problem was I got so used to not wearing makeup that most eyeshadow palettes overwhelmed me. Teviant Queen palette is one of my newest makeup discoveries from my stash. I've had this for a few months now but I've only started using this palette a few weeks ago because I was on a makeup rut for the most of last year (2020). The palette also looks a bit intimidating TBH and I didn't think that I can wear the shades for everyday but after some use, you can definitely use this to create warm looks that can be worn over the day and simply darken the to transition for night. A Budget-Friendly Taupe Eyeshadow Palette You Won't Wanna Miss! Cathy Doll Smoky Palette from their Nude Me Collection!

Whoooo! New eyeshadow! Is it just me or is anyone out there also into collecting new eyeshadow palettes? Even those which you don't really intend to use because you have a gazillion other palettes sporting the same shadow shades? I ain't got no shame in my game that I like taupe eyeshadow colors.

It seems like almost every makeup brand has been coming up with their own version of the ever so popular Naked palettes from Urban Decay. Truth be told, I'm no longer surprised when I spotted the 3 new eyeshadow palettes from the Cathy Doll Nude Me Collection launch and saw that they look like they were inspired from Naked 1, 2, and 3 respectively. What I wasn't expecting was how nice they are; more so when compared to the ones by the "maybe she's born with it" brand!

You guys liked my review of the Ever Bilena Eyeshadow Palette in Pink so here I am sharing with you my thoughts on the BROWN palette!

The brown palette piqued my interest because it seems to be all-matte from photos on Instagram and since I picked up the pink one, it just makes sense to go ahead and get the sister palette for review and swatches, right?

Like the pink palette, this one goes for only 150 pesos and has 6 shades with more than a gram of product per shade. The packaging is sleek and very travel-friendly. I even liked the sponge tip applicator that comes with it!

I've been absent from blogging lately because of crazy work schedule and I know I owe you guys A LOT of reviews! I'm starting off this review spree with a first impressions review and swatches of the Ever Bilena eyeshadow palette in pink!

I've been seeing this palette all over Instagram but I held off from purchasing one for a while because I already have a lot of neutral eyeshadow palettes. That is... until the day when one of my students asked me if I am wearing this palette. I was wearing my Lorac Unzipped Gold at that time and my student remarking that she noticed my makeup did not budge for a whole day of lecture and thinking that I am wearing this Ever Bilena palette piqued my interest. I was like, "okay Andie, time for you to check this out!". At Watson's that day, I was surprised to find out that the palette is only 150 pesos. I was thinking that it would be around 300-500ish ***inner scream YEY!*** so, happy with my find, I paid for the palette without swatching and got back to my hotel

***I'm a nurse review lecturer by the way, so I am often on the road.

I actually forgot about the palette until I got back home and noticed it when I was unpacking. Lo and behold! It is prettiness galore!

First time swatching it the morning I got home. Can you hear the halleluiah in the background?
