Bloom this summer with BYS Summer Bloom and Urban Safari collection indeed! I can't believe that I've only found out a few days ago that BYS Cosmetics is mostly a cruelty-free makeup brand. I have a ton of their products but I held off blogging because I wanted to keep this blog cruelty-free as much as possible. I know, I know, I still get lots of requests for reviews of non cruelty-free makeup products and I am really considering featuring some again because I have a ton in my stash; but now that I found out that BYS Cosmetics is mostly cruelty-free, I am just glad that I won't have to stop myself from blogging about new BYS Cosmetics makeup anymore.

One of the first videos I created for the PinayBeautyAndStyle YouTube channel is a beauty subscription box unboxing video for beauty subscription box Boxycharm followed by IPSY. Unfortunately, these beauty subscription boxes are not available in the Philippines. I followed that with Glamourbox and BDJ Box but both Philippine Beauty Subscription Boxes are also long gone as of now. Good thing that TheStyleQuarter.Net came up with their own beauty subscription box! Of course, I grabbed the opportunity to share this new Philippine Beauty Subscription Box with you guys!

UNBOXING! Lash Lab Manila Lash Drawer - First in the Philippines!

I can't even remember when I started looking for a lash book or a lash drawer to help me organize my stash of falsies, but it seems all lash books and lash drawers being made are meant for little girls! Of course I'm not happy with that, so I simply made do with stashing my lashes in pill boxes, the sides of my laptop, and everywhere else...and then I saw Lash Lab Manila's newest creation.

Behold! The Lash Lab Manila Lash Drawer!!!

Whoa, whoa, whoa!  I can't believe my eyes when I saw the photo above because I've been looking for something like that for so long! It's sleek, versatile-looking, thick enough to house costume falsies, and it is locally available (and locally made!).

It has been a while since GlamourBoxPh had an open subscription for a Philippine beauty box so when they posted on their social media in early of June 2016 that they'll be having a collaboration with PixiBeautyPh, I was beyond excited! 

I didn't get a chance to blog about the announcement because I was super busy at that time...plus I wasn't sure yet if the box will be worth it. The last thing I would want to do is help hype up something that I wouldn't really want to recommend to a friend so I bid my time and YASSSSSssssss, the wait for the #PerfectlyPixi #Glamourbox is totally worth it!

And just to share with you guys how much I like my Pixi by Petra Glamourbox collab beauty box, I wrote a blog!

So, I've been doing haul videos and review videos on Youtube but wasn't I really into the whole blogging thing until some viewers requested that I write a blog for products that I don't take videos of. 

Hey, don't you worry, I will not stop doing videos and in fact, I do have a video for the #BYSMatteMaven #GlamourboxUnboxing but it's in tagalog (as requested). I figured that writing a blog post would cover both sides of the coin for my non-filipino viewers and subscribers so here it is - MY VERY FIRST BLOG!

Now, of course the items in the box were first kept as a surprise when #GlamourBoxPh announced that they'll be having another collaboration beauty box with #BYSPhilippines. It was a bit of a gamble for me but seeing that their previous box, the BYS Makeup Pro Glamourbox is such a big hit, I decided to take the plunge!
