Today's review is about an oldie but goodie favorite of mine for more than 5 years now, the Laneige White Plus Renew Capsule Sleeping Pack. The reason why it took me so long to review this is that I only use this a few weeks a year when my skin is at its most dry. Now that winter is coming (enter Game of Thrones theme music), we are back at the time of the year when I buy my annual supply of Laneige White Plus Renew Capsule Sleeping Pack for use during the end of the year and early January. Before anything else, I just want to make it clear that the Laneige White Plus Renew Capsule Sleeping Pack is not skin whitening at least for me. What it does is that it hydrate your skin so that your skin looks even-toned and brighter. It's all about that chok chok skin trend for Korean skincare.

Korean skincare has been my skin savior since I've hit my 30s a long time ago. I used to use a lot of western skincare products but they always end up too heavy for me or just not working as claimed. This could be because they're formulated for a totally different climate but I really think that it also has something to do with certain skin characteristics that are not universal. Anyway, since I've switched to using mostly Korean skincare products, I noticed a huge difference in my skin as well as how good each product performs. I have nothing against Western skincare brands btw, but since I am currently based in the Philippines and am ethnically Asian, it just makes sense to use products that are made for Asian skin.

What I shared above are just a few of the reasons why I chose to switch to mostly Korean skincare products. I say mostly because I still use products from everywhere but yeah, because I have dehydrated sensitive, and acne-prone skin, it just makes more sense to make the switch.
