Bobbie Cosmetics Poppin Cheeks in Chisel Review | P100 Contour and Bronzer

I created this blog because I want to share great find from local manufacturers of makeup and skincare; hence, I'm beyond thrilled to have something to add to my growing list of affordable makeup finds from the Philippine drugstore!

Bobbie Cosmetics Poppin Cheeks in Chisel

I kid you not. The local drugstore makeup aisle is brimming with treasures! I know this is easy to just cast aside and label as mere pa-hype effect but hey, I got nothing to gain if I spend my time blogging about the Bobbie Cosmetics Poppin Cheeks in Chisel and it turns out to be a dud, right?

Anyway, the reason why this is a good find isn't just because this is such a steal at just P115 per piece but because this is marketed as a matte blush. Now, the other shade of matte blush at my neighborhood Walmart is a barbie pink...so I can understand why the Bobbie Cosmetics Poppin Cheeks line isn't making waves in pinay makeup headlines, but as I usually say on my review videos, "makeup has no limits" so if a product works as something else, then enjoy it!

Each piece of the Bobbie Cosmetics Poppin Cheeks blush retails for P115 for 7 grams or .25 oz of product. That is quite a lot considering the deceptively small packaging. I guess they were able to fit so much because of how deep the pan is? It's like half a centimeter deep.

Downside would be there is no batch number or other details like for how long you can store the product.

But I do like the warm taupey shade and thought that this can work as a contour powder for those with yellow undertone and as a bronzer for pale gals like me or those with light to medium skintone. The powder would be a great warm crease color too as the product is quite pigmented.

Under the powder, there is a compartment that houses a typical drugstore blush brush and a small mirror. I haven't used the brush yet because I prefer my long-handled brushes.

In here it looks a bit too warm but that is just because of the afternoon sunlight.

The powder is very soft. I guess they have a lot of emollients in the formula? You have to use a soft brush as I am thinking that the included brush will cause major fall out.

The positive side is that the texture allows for easy blending. Yassss!

I used the Bobbie Cosmetics Poppin Cheeks in Chisel as a contour and bronzing powder in the above selfie. I told you it works!
