Korean Makeup for Glasses Tutorial - Althea Korea Makeup Tutorial Featuring ALL New Releases!

Makeup tutorials are not my forte although I used to post some makeup tutorials at the PinayBeautyAndStyle youtube channel. I don't feel that I am qualified to post a makeup tutorial because I am not a makeup expert. However, in the past month, I've been experimenting with the new makeup releases from Althea Exclusives so here goes a tutorial featuring the newest Althea Makeup!

NOTE: I use low-resolution pics in blogs because of issues with some people stealing my content. Better photos are at my Instagram @PinayBeautyAndStyle!

Korean Makeup for Glasses Tutorial - Althea Korea Makeup Tutorial Featuring ALL New Releases!

Have you noticed that reddish or pinkish eye makeup looks really great for most ladies with fair skin? I also noticed that a red or semi-red eyeshadow is amazing for making my eyes look more defined when I am wearing glasses. This Althea Makeup Tutorial will feature their newest releases and how I used them to achieve a Korean Makeup for Glasses look!

I'll be using all the non-makeup and makeup releases from AltheaKorea:

  1. Althea Spot Relief Spot Film Gel
  2. Althea Flawless Creamy Concealer
  3. Althea Spotlight Eye Glitter
  4. Althea Watercolor Cream Tint
  5. Althea Eye Palette Sunrise & Moonrise BCL X Althea
  6. Althea Spotlight Eye Glitter

You can read details and my mini reviews about the products above in my blog post on Althea Exclusive Makeup Releases. It comes with swatches too!

So back to the Althea Makeup Tutorial, I started with the base products.

I did not have a lot of breakout when I recorded this tutorial so I will upload more pictures later when you can really see them in action.

This is how the Althea Skin Relief Spot Control Gel looks like.

For starters, I used the Althea Skin Relief Spot Film Gel to help cover my small breakouts. I find that using this Skin Relief Spot Film Gel helps heal pimples faster and makes foundation and concealer adhere properly. At first I had issues with it but after a few tries, I found out that the trick is to use a very thin film only. This can be very tricky to use but once you get the hang of it, you'll like the product.

I then proceeded to spot conceal using Althea Flawless Creamy Concealer in Ginger and the shade Vanilla to use as highlighter for my under eyes. This is after I've put it a thin layer of foundation. You can see that the Althea Flawless Creamy Concealer melts on the skin in the left side after blending with makeup sponge.

Then I proceeded with eye makeup. I already drew my brows here because I find it hard to make sure that my eyeshadow is the same without eyebrows to guide me.

I wanted an unconventional look so I used the Althea Watercolor Tint Cream as base/primer. It is not oily or malagkit and provided a good base for my eyeshadow.

After blending the Watercolor Tint Cream, I used the matte nude shade in the Althea Eye Palette Sunrise & Moonrise BCL X Althea for my crease.

Then I followed it up with the maroon shade for my outer V. I love how easy to use the palette is. The only downside is the colors don't come with a name.

I used the rose gold glitter shade all over my lid too, creating dimension.

The Althea Spotlight Eye Glitter caught me by surprise because I used to not like sparkly eye makeup because I don't like glitter fallout. Both the palette and the Althea Spotlight Eye Glitter stay put by the way and don't smear or create glitter fallout so yey!

I used the white one for my inner corner. Zero fumes and zero irritation. It dried really fast too.

I used the pink Althea Spotlight Eye Glitter for my upper lid as a liner.

Then because I am going out that day, I used the white shade for budge-free glitter highlighter.

I used shade #3 from the Althea Watercolor Cream Tint to create a gradient lip.

I applied a thin layer on the middle of my lips.

Then diffused with with my fingers using tapping motions. Did the same for upper lip.

Applied some Althea Flawless Creamy concealer to blur out my lip lines. You need to blend the concealer so it will create a faded look for your lips.

Here is the Korean makeup look!

I added mascara later to complete my look. Doesn't it make my eyes look bigger and look nicer even with glasses? Perfect eyeshadow and makeup for glasses!
