Squad Cosmetics released a bunch of budget-friendly cosmetics when they launched and one of them is their Cheek to Cheek Duo Blush Highlighter which comes in several shade combinations. What is the Squad Cosmetics Cheek to Cheek Duo Blush Highlighter?
This product is a blush and highlighter combo that comes in 3 shade selections. I only got 1 because the other shades were not available at their online store at that time plus I only wanted to test it out.
Squad Cosmetics is cruelty-free makeup brand and they are a sister brand of Detail makeover or Detail Cosmetics, one of the popular affordable color cosmetics brands in the Philippines.

I like the fact that this product is so affordable at less than 100 pesos or less than $2 a piece because that makes the branding on point for their target market, which are young beauty enthusiasts in the Philippines.
I buy Squad Cosmetics at their official Shopee store (click HERE https://shope.ee/3fOwjtl0LM) because they often have sales and promos.
I think that they were able to achieve the affordable price point because they let go of non-essential things found in most blushes, which are brushes and mirrors. I like that you can clearly see the powder product without opening the lid as well because it is clearly visible. I was thinking that the packaging would be flimsy too but it is durable enough. Yes, it feels like drugstore makeup but they got the packaging right. So think WnW packaging but in millennial pink.
Product is very straightforward and a bit too hard even though it is a powder. Perhaps they formulated the product this way because affordable makeup brushes can pick up too much of it if it is too soft. Because I use soft facial brushes, I needed to dig in to get more into my brush but that is also good because it makes the product easy to use for beginners so they don't end up putting on too much.
You can get more if you use your fingers to swipe. Warning though that the blush is so pigmented it can be a bit staining! I was stunned by that because I wasn't expecting a staining quality in a powder blush!
The colors are really pretty and can be used on their own or mixed`together. I like the neon-ish quality of the matte blush because it gives a glow from within look. I used this in the photo below but the littlest amount only.
