Although the gray hair trend or gray hair color is very much IN these days, it is still 'dyahe/embarrassing' when you have a few gray hair colored hair peeking through your tresses.
I can't really go light or try funky hair colors because I mainly work as an academe so the next best thing is to get rid of gray hair for myself is to cover it with hair dye...if only my hair doesn't grow so fast!
My hair grows like a weed, thanks to my genes. Unfortunately, I also happened to have inherited genes for premature graying from both sides of the family. This means That I have to get rid of gray hair every 4-6 weeks or else I would perceived as someone who doesn't take care of herself (the beauty blogging world and post-grad students are kinda judgmental y'all!)!
I'm really trying to cut back on trying to get rid of gray hair through hair coloring almost every month. I find that wearing a high ponytail is amazing for this purpose giving me that Ariana Grande vibe (teehee), but seriously, I love letting my hair down!
So what to do then?

Conceal Brush Tip Instant Gray Hair Solution is a product designed to temporarily cover bald spots and gray hair for a day or two.
The brand Conceal actually have a few products for covering gray hair and bald spots. They are available in Watsons for about P200-P300 each and I also saw that they have an official shop in Shopee. I got mine from Sampleroom (click this link for instant gray hair coverage) as a free sample and you can get one too free of charge. You only pay for the shipping!
This product is P250 for a 5 gram tube.
Conceal Instant Touch Up Solution promises to give you perfect looking hair in seconds and is washable with shampoo, free from toxins, ammonia, and scalp-damaging hydrogen peroxide.
I tried this for the claims listed below:
- pocket sized and can be brought anywhere
- no water needed so no mess
- have rich pigments to color hair strands
- no strong scent
- safe for those with sensitive scalp
- and best of all, temporary as this washes away with normal shampoo and water.
To use:
1. I simply made sure my hair is dry.
2. I applied to areas needing touch ups.
3. I allowed the formula to dry (took just 3-5 minutes)
4. I then combed and styled my hair as usual.
5. That's all!
What an improvement, right?
The only con I can see for myself is that the color dark mocha brown isn't dark enough for my dark brown hair but Conceal also has a darker shade in the Brush Tip variant that lasts for up to 3 days. I might try that next but part of me loves this color dark mocha brown because the rest of my hair has reddish brown highlights. I feel that this fits better with me, overall.

additional thoughts:
I really recommend that you use this with the Conceal Touch Up Powder when you're trying to cover bald spots and gray hair near the scalp. If just trying to conceal a few strands of long gray hair strands, this will work great too...but do make sure that you wait until the product has fully dried before combing to avoid creating a mess.
