Derma C Brightening Soap Review - Is it Really A Skin Brightening Soap?

Promised Derma C Brightening Soap review after I blogged about the Derma C Serum Face Mask Review yesterday so here it is!

I am very particular when it comes to soaps. I seldom try new soaps because most soaps that are readily available in stores are either whitening soaps or fragrance soaps. I'm not much into skin whitening and I am very sensitive to scents so when I saw that Derma C Brightening Soap and found out that it promises skin brightening instead of whitening, plus the fact that it has a mild scent, I immediately got a free sample via so I can take it for a whirl.

Derma C Brightening Soap Review - #HealthyMoisturizedSkin?

What is the Derma C Brightening Soap?

So yeah, unlike most soaps in the market, this soap by Derma C is a skin brightening soap. The product claims to deliver moisturized smooth and soft skin with the help of key ingredients Vitamin E and Collagen plus natural Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and Camu Camu extract.

To be honest I was intrigued by the #7NaturalOils combo. I am into oils these days and the combination of Olive Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Sulfated Castor Oil, Sunflower Oil, and Jojoba Oil sounds great because all of these are moisturizing oils.

By the way, I'm planning to write more about oils coz I'm really enjoying my own concoctions using them!

Like the Derma C Serum Face Mask, the Derma C Brightening Soap is also formulated by Korean skincare experts and manufactured under the same company as Potencee or Pascual Lab (I'm a suki of their supplements).

Dermatologically tested too and I dare say hypoallergenic because my sensitive skin didn't have issues. FDA approved too!

The Derma C Brightening Soap retails for P112 and available in Watson's, Mercury Drug, and Star Drug.

I've only been using the soap for a week now and I noticed that my skin on my legs isn't as dry as they used to. I've used the soap as is and also with a net foamer for both face and body. I am already very fair so I can't tell if my skin is brighter. It looks clearer though so that's a plus!

I used this with the mask as well and they seem to be a good combination. I can't wait to update this post when my bar is all used up. I think I still have 2 weeks before the soap is all gone.

The soap is a bit pricey at first glance but if you have sensitive skin, then you know that similar soaps can cost so much more so I think the pricing is good. I hope the good results will continue. 1 week of use is still quite early to tell so I won't share my rating yet.

UPDATE: Derma C Brightening Soap Review - Is it Really A Skin Brightening Soap?

Yes! The brightening effect is visible after more than 4 weeks. However, I already have very fair skin so I guess any brightness is not very visible on me. I did notice no breakouts, a bit of dryness on the face, and overall smoothness on the body. Not bad!

a super rare selfie shot coz I like the product and the packaging is so terno with my oranges hahaha!
