It has been a while since GlamourBoxPh had an open subscription for a Philippine beauty box so when they posted on their social media in early of June 2016 that they'll be having a collaboration with PixiBeautyPh, I was beyond excited!
I didn't get a chance to blog about the announcement because I was super busy at that time...plus I wasn't sure yet if the box will be worth it. The last thing I would want to do is help hype up something that I wouldn't really want to recommend to a friend so I bid my time and YASSSSSssssss, the wait for the #PerfectlyPixi #Glamourbox is totally worth it!
And just to share with you guys how much I like my Pixi by Petra Glamourbox collab beauty box, I wrote a blog!
Unboxing my Perfectly Pixi Glamourbox
First off, I am fully aware that some people may be rooting for more makeup items, and some may be rooting for more skin care or personal care kind of items in this box. Personally, I am happy with the mix because the Perfectly Pixi box has a little bit of everything!
And I really appreciate that glamourboxph always includes a card listing all the product details.
Did I mention yet that I only paid 1,290 pesos + shipping fee for this pixi glamourbox worth 3,440 pesos?
I believe that's what we call a TOTAL SCORE!
And guys, everything is paraben-free and cruelty-free. No wonder my cats won't leave the box alone!
At first, I wasn't thrilled upon seeing that they included this Pixi Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths. Why? Because I really would have wanted to receive a full-size Glow Tonic instead. Anyway, I fell in love with it at first try so now I am taking that back, haha!
I have yet to try this using heavy makeup but the cleansing cloths really melted my everyday makeup and made my skin feel good so no complaints.
I haven't tried the Pixi Lash Booster Mascara yet because I have around 11 other mascaras open.
I'm just pleased that it is waterproof and has no weird scent.
Same for the Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm, I haven't indulged in it yet but I am looking forward to do that soon! Maybe I'll post a review, like a full-box review, eh?
Now, this Pixi Skintreats Glow Tonic is amaze-balls! Made my skin feel amazing after just 3 uses so now I'm planning to hoard the full-size as soon as it becomes available again at the Glamourbox.ph website. Can you blame me?
The best item in the #PerfectlyPixi #Glamourbox (in my opinion) is this palette, the Pixi Book of Beauty Minimal Makeup.
The shades are not too pigmented so they're great for beginners and those who are really after minimal makeup. As for myself, well my ultra-pale skin loves the palette because I don't have to tip-toe around when using it.
