A total of 4 products in 3 different formats (gel, cream, tablets) was launched. They are the Hakubi White C tablets, Hakubi Q10 Cream, Hakubi BB Cream, and Hakubi White C Gel.
I must say that introvert me miss going to events and I realized that upon seeing some familiar faces during the launch hosted by Bianca Valerio. There were more people but I only managed to get one screencap and you can only see the top of my head because I was looking down at the screencap buttons, haha!
So, What is the Scoop with J-Beauty Skincare Brand Hakubi White C?
Hakubi White C is by Japanese skincare innovator SATO Pharmaceuticals. They're a big skincare company that is quite popular in Northeast Asia and now bringing their products to Southeast Asia including the Philippines. Just weeks ago I was thinking of having friend buy some Hakubi skin whitening products for me because I'm a J-Beauty fan so when I was invited to the launch, of course I said YES!
We were introduced to Hakubi White C tablets, Hakubi Q10 Cream, Hakubi BB Cream, and Hakubi White C Gel. These Japanese skincare products were formulated with natural ingredients that boost the skin's luminosity instead of relying on chemical brightening. Their patented formula is powered by Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, and L-Cysteine, ingredients that not only promote beautiful skin but healthy skin as well. I really like this about the products.
The event flowed too fast and I enjoyed the storytelling shared by fellow bloggers Toni Sia and Janeena Chan. I guess time really passes by when you are enjoying yourself. We played some games too but the winners are not yet announced so that's another thing to look forward to. I was hyped up and got all the answers correct but a lot of other people did too. It was truly a fun event made even more fun with the wine and sweet-savoury treats sent by TheGrazingBoxMnl.
Another thing that I truly appreciated is the fact that the event was graced by top executives from Hakubi. Director of Hakubi Singapore and Assistant General Manager of Asia Department Yusuke Marutsuka was there to answer our questions while Imaoka Nauki and Yusuke Suda were also there to show support. They didn't use marketing hypes and flowery words. It was mostly science. This lends credibility to their stance that their approach to beauty is intentional and health-focused.
